Xaverian Knocks-off Everett for Eastern Mass D-1 Super Bowl Championship

Xaverian captured its first MIAA high school football championship since 1998 beating Everett 29-0 on Saturday at Gillette Stadium.

The Boston Globe reports that the Hawks finished a perfect 13-0 thanks to four first half turnovers for Everett.

The Gloucester Fishermen went trolling for an Eastern Mass Super Bowl title Saturday against Bridgewater-Raynham on Saturday at Gillette Stadium.

When the final horn sounded, Gloucester had landed its second title in three years with a 33-13 victory. The Boston Globe reports the Fishermen were led by running back Conor Ressel, who scored three touchdowns.

The Boston Globe reports Bishop Feehan beat Marblehead 12-6 with a game-winning drive that ended with :13 to go in the game.

After an 0-4 start, the Golden Knights finished with eight wins in their last nine games, including a 22-12 win in its Eastern Mass Division 4A Super Bowl game against Brighton. The Boston Globe reports Northeast used a strong running attack in the Super Bowl victory.
